BERLIN – Mrs. Irene (Savard) Robichaud, 82 of 299 Grafton St., passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital.

Mrs. Robichaud was born Sept. 9, 1917, in Berlin, the daughter of Louis and Lea (Hebert) Savard. A lifelong resident of Berlin, Mrs. Robichaud was a homemaker. She was a member of Guardian Angel Church and the Ladies of St. Anne.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond Robichaud of Manchester and Leo Robichaud of Berlin; two daughters, Mrs. Jeannette Lozier and Mrs. Patricia Blais of Berlin; a brother, Leo Savard of Hollywood, Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. Yvonne Cartier. Mrs. Theresa Morneau, Mrs. Lucille Marcotte and Mrs. Pauline Tibbetts; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Robichaud was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Normand A. Robichaud, on Aug.2, 1991.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, April 24 at Guardian Angel Church with interment in Russian City Cemetery

Berlin – Norman A. Robichaud, 73, of 299 Grafton St., died Aug. 2, 1992, in Androscoggin Valley Hospital after an illness. Born in Berlin, he was the son of Joseph and Elmira (Goudreau) Robichaud. He lived most of his life in Berlin.

In 1937, he graduated from Berlin High School. During World War II, he served in the Army.

Before retiring in 1981, he worked as a superintendent in the Burgess Wood Room at James River Corp.

He was a member of the American Legian; VFW Post 2520; Fraternal Order of Eagles; Millsfield Sporting Club; and North Country Sporting Club.

Mr. Robichaud was a communicant of the Guardian Angel Church.

Family members include his wife, Mrs. Irene (Savard) Robichaud of Berlin; two sons, Raymond Robichaud of Londonderry, and Leo Robichaud of Berlin; two daughters, Mrs. Jeannette Losier and Mrs. Patricia Blais, both of Berlin; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Marie Carroll of Los Angeles, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.
