Yvonne M. Cartier
Berlin – Yvonne M. (Savard) Cartier, 82, of 105 Park St., died Feb. 12, 2002, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin.
She was born in Berlin on Feb. 21, 1919, the daughter of Louis and Lea (Hebert) Savard and had been a lifelong resident.
She was a member of St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepard Parish and was an active member of the White Mountains Post 2520 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
Family members include three sons, Roland Cartier of Palm City, Fla., Richard Cartier of Concord, and Ronald Cariter of Manchester; two daughters, Anne Marie Dorval of Manchester, and Rita Mistretta of Salem; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Marcotte and Theresa Morneau, both of Berlin; one brother, Leo Savard of Holiday, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.

Armand P. Cartier, 46, of 323 Cedar St.,, Manchester, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon while working in Boston.
Born March 25, 1919, at Berlin, he was the son of Pierre and Elodia Belanger Cartier. A resident of Manchester the past six years, he previously lived here where he was a member of St. Kieran Church. He was a veteran of World War II and was employed as a carpenter by Perini Construction Company of Boston. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 33, Boston.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Yvonne Savard Cartier, Berlin; two sons, Richard and Ronald, two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Hartford, Manchester; Miss Anne Marie Cartier, Berlin; a brother, Paul, Nashua; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Rieder, South Windsor, Conn.; and three grandchildren.
