Jean Baptiste was the son of Joseph-Simon Savard and his second wife Catherine Dallaire.  He first married Madeleine Lavoie at Petite Riviere on October 23, 1756.  From this union there was one daughter, Emerance Savard, who married Pierre Lord on January 7, 1777 at l’Ile aux Coudres.

Jean Baptiste married a second time to Felicite Tremblay on April 5, 1761 at Baie St-Paul.  Two sons were the product of this marriage, Jean, who married Josette Lavoie on November 18, 1793 at l’Ile aux Coudres and my ancestor Josephwho Married Francoise Bergeron on January 20, 1794 at l’Ile aux Coudres.

Jean Baptiste married a third time to Charlotte Audibert on July 16, 1770 at l’Ile aux Coudres. There were seven children as a result of this union.

Jean Baptiste died on November 22, 1803 at l’Ile aux Coudres
